In light of women’s history month, let this be a reminder that watering your garden is essential. As women, we tend to pour into everyone else but ourselves leaving our gardens in a drought, depleted, and unattended to. We must take more moments to water ourselves so the seeds we have planted have the space to flourish.
 
I specifically chose this hair model because she is a mother who works tirelessly to provide for her children. This makeover was an opportunity for my client to remember that even with the full time job of being a provider, she deserves to live in her light, rest, and slow down like flowers in a garden.
 
A gentle reminder: You deserve your flowers now, not later. Give them to yourself more often and don’t forget to water them on your life journey.

Braiders, how do you add in your human hair? 🧐

Adding those human hair pieces can be a task sometimes. The look is beautiful but there is so much that goes I to achieving this new client favorite! Here are some quick tips…
.Make sure the hair is a long enough length! I recommend at least 14inches.
.Comb through the hair after cutting it off the weft when using bundle hair
.Be mindful of the size of the pieces you’re adding. Larger human hair strands can leave the braid looking bulky. And we do not like bulky braids

Knotless box braids! I work everyday to perfect my craft. If there was a such thing as braiders ocd, my face would be the description. Even looking at this picture I can see flaw🥴 but I’m so proud of myself for posting anyway🤷🏾‍♀️.
