Omg yesterday must have been TARDY THURSDAY!

My first 3 appointment were all late!

My 10 o’clock arrived a bit after 12.
My 10:30 arrived a little before 11.
My 1 o’clock arrived about a quarter after!

Me:

By 2 o’clock I had to contact my 3pm and say I was 30 minutes behind!
And of course this is the day she had a deadline to be gone! 😩

By 3:30 I still wasn’t done with my 1pm appointment!
Now my 3:30pm like, girl…what’s up!

When I got my original 3 o’clock appointment I had to do all kinds of apologizing and stressing to get her out of there when she needed to be! My tardiness wasn’t her problem…but thankfully I was able to get her out by time she needed.

And she didn’t side-eye me because she knows I don’t work like that and being on time is top-priority for me!

By 4 o’clock I had to tell my 5:30pm to arrive at 6!

By 7, I had to tell my house I was going to be arriving to get in bed! 🤣

I run a tight ship because I don’t play about my client’s time!
I understand, when you have an appointment set there is a standard of when you expect to be seen!

As a professional, days like this will happen! But it is up to you how you communicate with your clients when running behind, how you handle the conflict, if it arise, by you being behind!

This doesn’t happen often for me but when it does…whew lawd! Lol
