I get asked often if I deal with difficult clients.
My answer is I don’t.

I never lower my standards whenever I’m working or whenever I work with someone else. This has taught me that At some point, your standards will start pulling the right people in.

And those same standards apply to anyone I work with.
It’s the level I hold, and the level I meet.
It’s what I give, and what I expect.

So now I’m curious, do standards attract or push people away?
For me it’s extremely important. Not everyone operates with the same level of care and that’s okay.
But for me, protecting the client experience doesn’t come second to convenience.
It’s the standard.

Happy birthday in heaven to my Mami! Today it would have been her 69th but instead she will be forever 64.

In this picture Camilla and me prepared her 60th birthday cake and birthday celebration party even though it was just the four of us, for me it was always a blessing to celebrate her birthday even if I was far away from home.

On her 50th I was able to prepare a big surprise birthday party for her and it will always be my favorite memory of seeing her happy being celebrated and feeling loved. I made her prepare the potato salad for a birthday party “I was invited” she innocently did it and brought it to the party without knowing what was waiting for her inside. A big Surprise!

I miss her more than words can express. Every day I think about how much she would have loved seeing me now. A business owner, award winning makeup artist, traveling the world to educate myself and improve all my skills just like I always wanted and dreamed of. I know she would have been so proud and of course scared too saying “como que vas viajar sola?”

And because I’ll never stop talking about it, It wasn’t a Hoax, and it is still not. Covid was real. It was real!. My mom is gone, that is also real.

What looks “simple” is actually precise and intentional work.
