Got to shoot the last match in Tactical Sniper series. Once again, I set out to prove that you don't NEED the best of the best gear to be competitive, but it sure helps. I shot this match with my 14.5" GP rifle and a 1-8 .nf ATACR. Great components, but not made specifically for this use case.

However, I was shooting ammo, which i believe is the best on the market right now. I also believe that the RECCE barrel is probably the best 14.5" barrel for this type of job. was also kind enough to send me down to the match with electrolytes for everyone! But if you haven't built the skills required for this type of shooting, the gear won't get you there.

Now that I've done this with a 13.7" and 14.5", i will be building an 18" DMR dedicated setup because I'm competitive and want to win. You can compete with what you've got, but at the top, you're competing on hard mode.

A little clean-up for my buddy .chitwood on his Just a little tlc, and she looks almost as good as new.

Customer had a split barrel on this Stevens Model 67 in .410. Cut the barrel well behind the crack, re-crowned it, drilled and tapped it for a new bead, and slapped the new bead on. Cleaned up nice 🤙

Another red dot mount job finished up. Drilled and tapped this 870 receiver and installed one of the best mounts for shotguns on the market. I've been doing these quite a bit lately and have really come to appreciate its design.
