I was you… stuck in the mindset that only “other stylists” were lucky enough to:
+ get the “good clients”
+ offer the high ticket services
+ make the money they wanted to make
+ have a waitlist of people wanting to see them
I was stuck in the mindset that this was just as good as it was going to get… and I had accepted that that was just MY reality - until I challenged it.
Now don’t get me wrong, I was content - BUT I wasn’t fulfilled…
And then I realized what else I was stuck in…. My own way.
I got clarity on what I did exceptionally well, refined those techniques even further, niched down my services (even when it wouldn’t make everyone happy), and marketed the s**t out of myself, and what do you know… EVERYTHING CHANGED!
Now, my goal is to help stylists see what’s possible, elevate their skill set, and chase what they want their reality to be, because if I can do it, you can do it too!

I believe - a great color doesn’t just look great when it leaves, it looks great when it comes back!
I’ve helped hundreds of clients through our Seamless Grow Out® methodology and now I’m on a mission to help other stylists do the same!
If you’re a stylist struggling with:
+ Grow outs that look harsh
+ Clients needing to come more frequently
+ Overwhelm of squeezing everyone in
+ A glass ceiling you can’t seem to break through
+ Feeling burnt out and uninspired
Our methodology was created for you! Join me for a 3 month mentorship where you’ll learn how to help clients go longer between appointments, how to adapt our techniques for gray blending, and how to elevate your perceived value behind the chair! It took me 13 years behind the chair to realize I had gotten it all wrong…
I used to think that working more hours was the only way to “be successful” or increase my income…
That the clients who were willing to pay top dollar just went to the stylists that were lucky enough to get them as clients…
I used to think that “success” meant being booked out for 8 weeks, double booking, and hiring an assistant…
And that if you weren’t behind the chair 5 days a week, that you must not be serious about growing or building your business…
I was wrong.
Now, my definition of success is:
+ working smarter, not harder
+ reducing my hours BTC to lead my team
+ being more present with loved ones
+ doing less, better
+ systems, structure and clarity
+ creating a bigger impact
+ paying it forward
+ being strategic and intentional
+ patience and trust
+ more white space
+ flexibility with my schedule
+ more benefits and retaining my team
+ helping my stylists build their dream clientele

10 years ago, I would’ve said owning a salon meant telling people what to do, having the last say, making all the rules, and not caring if anyone liked it…
But the changes I’ve gone through over the last decade have been truly transformational…
Where I once saw control, I now see collaboration…
Where I once saw rules, I now see brand standards…
Where I once saw “employees,” I now see teamwork + value…
I don’t have all the answers as a leader, and I’ll never pretend to, but what I do have is a s**t ton of curiosity and a drive to constantly make things better! Better for our clients, better for my team, and when the dominos fall - better for myself.
If I’d been a leader 10 years ago, my own selfish goals would have been the driving force. Today, I believe that success is a byproduct of leading with grace, having a clear mission, creating a culture rooted in strong values, and staying focused on what truly moves your business forward 🫶🏼

Just when you think you know me, I like to surprise you with a few fun facts you may not know ❤️

I don't pretend to have all the answers when it comes to leading a team, there’s plenty of mistakes I’ve made and plenty more to come, but I do pay attention to what actually creates impact.
Here are 7 impactful things I’ve prioritized so far:
+ leading with grace + empathy
+ staying authentic, always
+ giving genuine compliments
+ having the hard conversations
+ letting vision + values be the guiding light
+ hiring values aligned people
+ leading by example
I'm incredibly grateful for the salons I worked in before becoming an owner, they shaped me in so many ways… But once you've experienced leadership that avoids hard decisions, it's hard to unsee the cost of it.
If only more owners could understand that avoiding discomfort doesn't keep the peace, it quietly creates bigger problems…
I know hard conversations aren't fun…
I know it's uncomfortable to risk being misunderstood or viewed negatively…
But I also know that not having them is often what holds teams back the most.
Growing up, my mom had a quote on the fridge that my sister and I used to roll our eyes at:
"If your kids like you all the time, you're not being a very good parent..."
The deeper I get into owning a business, the more I believe the same is true for leadership.
Your team may not always understand decisions in the moment, but they'll appreciate them on the flip side. I think back to previous experiences and how I wish those owners would made the hard calls sooner... Letting go of people who no longer aligned with the culture, addressing issues instead of avoiding them, trying to keep people comfortable instead of protecting our team…
We lost great people along the way because of that hesitation and I'll always wonder where we could've been if those decisions were made when they needed to be.
So now, I lead with this in mind:
Be the leader you wish you had, even when it's uncomfortable… Especially when it's uncomfortable! Because doing what's hard today is often what creates the strongest, healthiest teams tomorrow!

METHODOLOGY MYTH: You can’t have bright, bold blonde + have a Seamless Grow Out®
METHODOLOGY FACT: All of these clients get their color done less than 4x a year!
Our Seamless Grow Out® methodology isn’t about putting clients (or stylists) in a box…
It’s about being strategic, intentional, and ahead of the grow out from day one!
We teach you how to:
+ Place brightness where it actually matters
+ Build dimension that evolves beautifully between appointments
+ Customize bold blondes without creating a maintenance nightmare
+ Increase client trust while reducing burnout behind the chair
+ Adapt our techniques to each client dependent on their density and texture
If you’re tired of the “bright blonde = high maintenance” narrative and ready to create results your clients love long after they leave your chair, our Seamless Grow Out® mentorship was built for you!

Only 2 weeks until our annual team retreat and I'm already in my feels…
Being an owner can have its challenges, but celebrating this team is hands down my favorite part! Last week one of my team members told me our culture was because of me, and while I appreciate that, the truth is... culture isn't created by one person…
It takes every single human showing up, caring, and choosing growth together, and that’s exactly what they do each and every day! This retreat isn’t just about our team spending time together, it’s about them feeling as valued as they make clients feel! My gratitude for the magic they bring to M+M will never end, but I’m thankful for weekends like this where I get to sprinkle a little magic back to them!

This is your year to say 🖕🏻to your haters, the ones who told you that you “can’t” simply because they never could, the ones bothered by your success, the ones who mock what they don’t understand, the ones who talk s**t just to mask their own jealousy and insecurities….
Seriously, WHO CARES?!?
Bless and release their opinions from your mind, thank them for helping you in the algorithm, and send them a receipt for living rent free in their mind ✌🏻
Because the truth is this: you’re powerful, you’re magnetic, and you’re doing things they wish they had the courage to do! People only talk about you when they can’t get anyone to listen to them talk about themselves…
So go be loud…
Go be brilliant…
Go be unapologetically you!
This is YOUR year, make it one they can’t ignore!
One of my favorite parts of our mentorship program is our monthly video chats! This isn’t a one day class you take and then figure out alone, this is REAL, ongoing support!
Every month we sit down 1:1, walk through your challenges, troubleshoot your techniques and grow outs, and make sure you have the clarity and confidence you need to keep getting real results behind the chair! Did we mention the 24/7 weekly support as well?!
If you’re curious about how this mentorship could support you, DM me with your questions, and let’s see if our mentorship program is the right fit for you!
