ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE & CHRISTMAS IN JULY SALE

In the handmade soap industry we are always working at least a couple of seasons ahead, which means I'm already thinking about the holidays. If you're a soap maker, or one of the Holiday Obsessed - Everyday a Hallmark Movie - Everything Red, Green & Sparkly types (like my bestie Jenne), the holidays are likely already on your mind, too. Ideally the soap makers will be working on their holiday lines and the holiday season obsessed will be making shopping lists soon. This year, to help us all get a jump on the season, we are hosting our first ever Christmas in July Open House, July 24th & 25th. ALL soap making fragrances, supplies, containers and equipment will be on sale. There will be Customer Appreciation Goody Bags and great deals all over the store. Fair warning, this will be the ONLY open house of the year. If you miss it you will have to wait until next year to get see these deals again. So mark your calendar, grab your reusable bags and get on in here!

COMMUNITY EVENT ALERT!!!

Urban Art Coop (https://www.urbanartcoop.org) is holding their annual Scoops and Bowls Fundraiser this coming Saturday, July 18th from 12-4 at the Lower Manito Picnic Shelter. UAC is a non-profit organization that was started 11 years ago by a group of local artisans, including former Greencastle employee Karen Mannino! Every summer UAC gathers in Manito Park to fundraise by selling their beautiful, unique bowls made by UAC members. Come buy a bowl (or 6), grab some ice cream, and enjoy a really great community experience.
