We just wanted to address what’s going on in our country right now and let you all know exactly where we stand. A core value of Boo Radley’s is kindness, and to us that means we believe NO human is illegal on stolen land. ICE is not, and never will be, welcome in our store and we strongly believe that they are acting unjustly and unlawfully. Protesting is a constitutional right, not a death sentence. We would like to honor and remember the people that have died at the hands of ICE, Keith Porter, Renèe Nicole Good, Alex Pretti, Heber Sanchaz Domínguez, Victor Manuel Diaz, Parady La, Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz, Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres, and Geraldo Lunas Campos. We would also like to keep everyone that is facing harm from ICE in our thoughts, and this Saturday we will be donating 15% of all our sales to Latinos en Spokane like our local bookstores. We love you Spokane, and we love our community. We will be open on Friday, not with the intent of making a profit, but to be available to our community as a safe place, no purchase necessary to come visit. We support the strike and the people participating. Be safe, make your voices heard, and Be Good.
