I wanted to make a special shoutout post to our department newsletter for the Month of November. I had the honor of being our first ever Student Spotlight and I am so appreciative for all the faculty for giving me this honor and opportunity. If you can please take a second to read what they had to say I feel like it was put together perfectly. Thank you .salon_scc for helping me a guiding me through this journey in this time of my life. I am appreciative of being part of such an awesome growing program. Hi, my name is Shayla Paine- Licensed Esthetician.

I am from Spokane and am hoping to open a mobile salon that reflects my passion and dedication for the beauty industry.

I have a vision to one day open a mobile salon out of a van or bus to travel to my clients. I am striving to grow a clientele within the community who works a “normal” 9-5 job and doesn’t have the opportunity to go into a salon.

I am looking for the clients who want to feel beautiful and confident with a space to get away and decompress for a short time.

My passion as a beauty service provider grows everyday as I learn more and take risks to see what works for me. I have a passion for makeup and skincare and would love for one day to be able to take the stress off of business owners and provide them facial and makeup services for big or small business events.

I wouldn’t have been able to have this opportunity without the help from my parents and Josh Paine. They have both pushed me to follow my dreams and do what makes me happy.💕
