Sparkles Glitter Tattoo & Face Painting

Well, the Wind had other plans for me face painting today and I have packed up. It blew over my kit and my table. Thank you to everybody that came out and got sparkle up. I love seeing your beautiful faces! The next event I will be at will be the Spokan North Idaho Fair in Coeur d’Alene Idaho

A sad day in our world

As a face painter you truly never know who you’ll touch. A little girl messaged me last night asking if I made a video of her and her best friend getting their faces painted by me last summer. Sadly, I didn’t, luckily she did what lil girls do, she took pics.

Turns out her friend Janessa, just 14 years old, committed su***de a couple weeks ago.

You never know anyone’s struggles and luckily we, as face painters, have the opportunity to let each person escape for even just a few moment of their struggle. To make every child feel loved. Make every person feel safe. Give each person a way to escape their struggles even for just a few moments.

It sure has made me keep in the forefront of my mind each and every persons interactions with me should be just as special as the first face I paint that day. 

Here’s to Janessa and the lessons she’s taught total strangers and here’s to all of us face painters for making total strangers lives perfectly happy, even for just a few moments.
Please be kind it’s not hard I promise.

Had a good day with Chris yesterday. We went to the rose gardens and the Japanese garden but they were closed due to a bee swarm. Makin memories!
