I am happy to announce that I completed my oncology course and took my final exam. This training allows me to better serve those in my community who need gentle, compassionate care using evidence based information. If you have recently received a diagnosis, are in active treatment or remission, I am here to be of service to you.

Every oncology journey is unique and requires knowledge and understanding of how treatments affect our skin, nails, hair along with all the other challenges it brings, worry, fear, sadness, grief.

Each oncology service is specially tailored to best care for the concerns of the client in a safe, clean and compassionate space.

It is my hope to help serve what feels like an underserved community, to safely pamper and support you through a very challenging time of life and to continue to be a resource to you. 💛

At Olivine, your well-being is always at the heart of every service. To ensure the highest level of care, I’ve recently added a medical-grade autoclave to the salon, and boy is it a beauty!

An autoclave is considered the gold standard of sterilization. It uses pressurized steam to eliminate all bacteria, viruses, and fungi from reusable instruments—providing the same level of cleanliness trusted in healthcare environments.

This means that all non-disposable tools used for your pedicure, manicure, brow + lash, and hair removal services will now undergo this advanced sterilization process.

PRICE UPDATE & SERVICE SHIFT

Starting October 1st, there will be a small price adjustment to a few services to better reflect the time, care, and rising costs involved in offering a high-standard experience.

As many of you know, manicure appointments have been waitlist-only, and after much thought, I’ve made the decision to begin phasing out structured manicures.

There are so many talented nail techs in our area offering beautiful manicures, but I’ve noticed there are far fewer specialists in thoughtful, focused pedicure care. I’m feeling called to lean into what my community needs most and where I feel most aligned—providing high-quality, wellness-focused pedicure, skincare and other beauty services.

Hey y’all! Just a reminder that I will be out July 6 through July 13 to enjoy a week of vacation and relaxation.

Our oldest son is home for a visit from Germany where he is stationed in the Air Force and we have two kiddos who are so ready for some fun in the sun after the hectic summer we’ve had so far with our roofing fiasco.

We are all looking forward to disconnecting, playing games, boating, enjoying the sunshine, the water, the birds, the wild bunnies, and everything that nature has to offer.

If you need to change any appointments, please do so via the link provided in your text or email confirmation and reminders 48+ hours prior to the appointment. Rescheduling is currently unavailable through your link as I am waitlist through mid September and no available dates will pop up.

I swear that one day I will remember to take after pictures and show you all the pretty nails I do and not just updates and announcements. I really am terrible at remembering, please remind me! Maybe one day I shall a clone and be more social media efficient 😉

l am so blessed to have a loyal clientele and, with a few beloved nail techs recently retiring, I’ve seen an influx of new clients filling my books. My afternoons, which are always highly sought after, are completely booked until August. At this time, I’m unable to accommodate any new afternoon appointments unless you’re on my waitlist (summer is always a good time for openings!). 🌸

Currently, I’m unable to accept any new appointments for structured manicures due to the consistent nature of the scheduling, but I am happy to help with lash, waxing, and advanced wellness pedicures!

As my schedule fills up, please continue to extend grace. Along with a big new space that I’m working to keep clean and stocked, I also have personal or family appointments to fit in and a bit more logistics with laundry (since I no longer have it on-site). Please know I’m doing my best to make it all work! S Thank you again for your understanding, kindness, and loyalty! I couldn’t do this without you!

Favorite product alert! Cracking this new container open and getting a little whiff of it made my day this morning.

Every client LOVES this scrub. Not only does it smell incredible, it exfoliates and hydrates.

The exciting part of the exfoliation beads is that there are no microplastics! No sharp pieces of exfoliant to create micro abrasions to the skin just jojoba and bamboo work together to gently soften and slough away dry skin.

This product can be purchased in a squeeze-y tube for easy home application so you can take that feeling of luxury right home with you.
