If I had to describe my trip to Italy, in one word, it would be “authentic”
From our BNB host Laura who’s father dropped off fresh pastries every morning, to our favorite coffee shop owners, Enzo & his wife, who knew our orders by the time we left 🤣 Everyone was soooo welcoming. The Italian culture is so family oriented. Almost every shop, restaurant and winery we visited was on the 3rd-5th generation of ownership. Watching them work so hard and with so much pride was inspiring. I also want to thank my friend for inviting me on the trip. Outside of cheer competitions, this is our first time traveling together or even hanging out together 🤣🤣 We really developed a friendship on this trip and I absolutely adore her friend group who were also on the trip. It felt so good to be in such loving company. Sorrento,Italy gave me a different perspective of what life truly is and that’s “authenticity” being surrounded by REAL happiness, REAL friends, REAL FOOD!! That’s all you need. Arrivederci🇮🇹

15 hours of travel. 3k steps on cobblestone. Learned how to make ravioli. Had my first limoncello. Day 1 in Sorrento has been amazing 🇮🇹
