Just had your treatment and wondering what comes next? Here are the essential Dos and Don'ts of post-care Tox to ensure you get the absolute best results!
✅ DO:
- Stay Hydrated: Keep your normal routine and give your body time to settle after treatment.
- Be Gentle With Your Skin: Cleanse and moisturize as usual, but avoid unnecessary pressure on treated areas.
- Be Patient With Your Results: Tox doesn't work instantly. Results develop over the following days, with the full effect taking up to two weeks depending on the product used.
🚫 DON'T:
- Rub Or Massage The Areas: Skip facial massage or aggressively touching the injection sites for 2 weeks.
- Jump Into Activity: avoid strenuous activity and heavy lifting for 24-48 hours.

Hi! I'm Brittany! I am from a small town in Southwest Missouri, and graduated from nursing school in 2015. I have held many jobs in this time period, from ER nurse, to flight nurse, nursing instructor and nursing supervisor.
I have been an aesthetic nurse injector for 4 years now!! I am married and a mom to two boys! In my free time, I enjoy camping, being with my family, going to Burn Bootcamp, and trash TV (of course)!

Tox Talk; Episode 1! If you’ve ever felt lost in the terminology—neurotoxin, Botox, neuromodulator, wrinkle relaxer—relax, they all refer to the exact same thing.
Let's clear up one of the most common misconceptions in aesthetics: the difference between tox and dermal fillers.
- Tox (Neurotoxins): This works by temporarily stopping the communication from your brain to your targeted muscles. By preventing that specific muscle movement, we stop fine lines and wrinkles from forming in the first place. Results typically last about 3 months.
- Dermal Fillers: Instead of stopping movement, fillers do exactly what their name suggests. They add volume to plump and fill in the lines or folds that have already been created. Results usually last around a year.
