There’s not a whole lot of sparkle to life when you’re constantly worried about money. My Adult life has been a struggle concerning 💰. Whether we were making a little or a lot, there’s been issues. 🥺

My mom and dad handled their money really well. 😊We were not poor. But certainly not “well off”.
I wish they had thought to teach me even a little bit about it. There was a scarcity mindset in my family. We can’t afford that” “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” “ Wait till our ship comes in” - I was really bummed when I realized that no ship was coming!

On top of that-HELLO! Did I mention I have ADHD? It’s a recipe for financial disaster-Impulsive. Can’t plan ahead. Forgetful. Uhg.

At least I can learn and create a positive mindset concerning it, by reading and listening to videos, books, and podcasts.

Have you ever heard of Dressing Your Truth? Long ago I typed myself as T4. I thought I had a REFLECTIVE INTROVERT ENERGY. I was going for a bold, striking, clean, classic look. I couldn’t figure out why these photos of me felt weird.

This week I participated in a special online event and was properly identified
as a Type 3! Turns out I have a DETERMINED EXTROVERT ENERGY, and should be going for rich, dynamic, and edgy.

After the initial shock, I got right to work, doing everything I can to start the new me. I immediately went through my closet and took out all the black and stark white. I’ve started shopping and have found some amazing items from Goodwill that should work well. Like a 👜 4 blouses, 3 👞 , and a belt all for the price of a pair of boots!

Stay tuned for my transition into clothes that are more of the real me, and more importantly, me being able to present a more authentic version to the world!

The boys and I figured out the issue with the weather. We were confused because we kept waiting for Spring! It almost got skipped. Mother Nature was like “Winter…. SUMMER! Oh wait, I forgot Spring. Ok, here’s a couple nice days then lots of rain. Boom. SUMMER!”

We’re like “But you said we’d get two weeks of Spring. We waited so long for it!” She’s like “uh, More like 10 days. Deal with it. “

All that to say, I refused to go outside to take photos of my new nails last week. I don’t do summer unless I’m on the beach or at the pool. But today I braved the outdoors and narrowly missed a mosquito bite.
