Forgiveness Brings Healing
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” (James 1:25)
Those who keep the image that God’s Word paints of them in front of them continually and act accordingly will be blessed in all they do. Notice God’s Word is called “the perfect law of liberty.” This is specifically referring to the New Covenant and all the liberty brought to us through the atonement of Christ. It is only through the grace given to us by the finished work of Christ that we can truly see our new selves and be blessed.
In the New Testament, Satan is depicted as being the god of this world. (2 Corinthians 4:4) His activities include blinding the minds of them who believe not, deception and craftiness. Keeping the Word of God before our eyes so that it stays in our hearts is essential to prevent the devil from robbing us of the blessings of God and bringing us into the bo***ge that Jesus set us free from. The truth of God’s Word makes us free and keeps us free. (John 8:32)
Jesus has already gone to the cross and bore our sins, and he doesn’t have to ever do it again. When Jesus bore our sicknesses and disease, he did It for all eternity. As a believer in Jesus, you never have to be judged for sin, and you never have to be sick.
Confession: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21) Because I’ve been forgiven, I am also healed.

Receive By Faith
“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” (Ephesians 2:5)
Although this verse says “by grace ye are saved,” Ephesians 2:8 clearly states that we are saved by grace through faith. Grace alone doesn’t save, faith has to be involved. If grace alone saved, then all people would be saved because the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, or come, to all. (Titus 2:11) But we have to respond to God’s grace in faith. Faith alone doesn’t save us either. If God hadn’t provided salvation by His grace, our faith would have had nothing to appropriate. In fact, faith is our response to what God has already provided by his grace.
'Even when we were spiritually dead because of our sins, God's forbearance was working on our behalf. He was tolerant, patient and kind towards us. God abounded in excessive proportion with good will, compassion, and desire to help us. His disposition was kind, compassionate, and forgiving in His treatment of us. He wanted in abundant supply to alleviate our distress and bring relief from our sins. He did this by giving us life in place of death.
Confession: Even when I was dead in trespasses and sin, and couldn’t do anything for myself, Father by grace you provided life, health, and healing. This was an act of grace independent of my efforts and works (Romans 3:27 and 11:6). Thank you Father that my salvation rests completely in your work through Christ alone. All I have to do is receive by faith.

Walk By Faith, Not By Sight
“And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.” (Genesis 3:5)
Prior to their sin, Adam and Eve had been walking and seeing by faith. That is the way God created them. Their physical eyes worked, but they were dominated by their spiritual sight. They walked by the eyes of their hearts. They were able to communicate with the Lord freely in that state and had supernatural abilities, like being able to name all the animals with perfect insight into their natures and characteristics. While they were walking and seeing by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7), they paid no attention to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They didn’t even notice they were naked. That is God-consciousness.
But when they took of the forbidden fruit and ate it, their spiritual eyes were closed and their physical eyes were opened. The Hebrew word “YADA’,” translated “knew” in this verse, means “to know , to ascertain by seeing)”. This isn’t describing an intuitive knowledge but a knowledge that comes by seeing. All of mankind has been birthed into this spiritual blindness where physical sight dominates. Through the new birth, we have been given back our spiritual sight, and we can now exercise ourselves back into spiritual sight. As 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Confession: The spiritual realm supercedes the physical realm, it doesn’t matter what I hear, taste, smell, feel, or see. When I speak out of what I see in the spirit, it will cause the physical realm to be conformed to the spirit. In the spirit, I am healed by the stripes of Jesus!

Under Grace Not The Law
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” (Romans 10:4)
The phrase “to every one that believeth” limits this benefit only to believers (Christians). To those who do not receive God’s gift of salvation, the judgement and penalty of the Law is still in effect. Those who fail to believe on Jesus will have to answer to God for each and every one of their transgressions of the Law.
A future time is coming when God will pour out His wrath on all the earth (Revelation 6:17; 16:1). However, in this present age, Jesus has come not to condemn mankind but to bring us grace and truth (John 1:14 and 3:17). Those who do not believe on the Son are presently under the wrath of the Old Testament Law (John 5:45, Romans 4:15, and Galatians 3:10; and, unless they repent, will suffer the wrath of God eternally.
The Old Testament Law still reveals to us God’s holiness, which we should seek to emulate. It must be understood, however, that our failure to comply does not bring the punishments, from God pronounced in the Law, since Jesus bore those for us. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. (Galatians 3:13).
Confession: Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am not under the law. I am under God’s grace. Jesus bore the judgement and penalty for all my sin, and I don’t have to. I rebuke sickness and disease in my life in the name of Jesus.

Words
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
The verse asserts that Jesus Christ is consistent across all time—past, present, and future. He is the same in His essence, perfections, and love for His people, providing a foundation of trust and stability for believers This statement highlights that Jesus Christ is immutable—unchanging in His character, love, and divine purpose. Jesus is the Word of God that became a man. (John 1:17) As a man, mankind got a better understanding of how God wants to use man and work through man, even in this fallen world that we live in.
Colossians 1:17 says that “by him all things consist.” Jesus (the Word of God that became a man) holds creation together. If He were to break His Word (the Word that created the universe, John 1:3), then the universe would fly apart. Since creation is still intact, we can be assured that He has never failed to keep His Word. God’s Word is the binding power that holds all creation together. So, when we speak God’s Word in faith, that power is released on our behalf.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21) People who don’t realize the power of their own words are talking themselves to death. They speak forth whatever negative thing they feel or have been told, and don’t realize they are signing their own death warrants.
Confession: I will only speak words of life, words that reflect the blessings that God desires for my life. I am blessed to be a blessing. I will live a long, and prosperous life. I am not getting weaker, but stronger, and I will live out the full number of the days of my life.

God Foreknew
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
1 Peter 5:6 tells us to humble ourselves before the Lord. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us how we do it. We are to cast all our cares on the Lord. If we are bearing care, we are walking in pride. We cannot be humble with worry and care in our lives. Those are sure signs that we are still leaning unto our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) and trying to make things work by our own power.
We can confidently cast all of our care upon the Lord because by His foresight, He has already made provision for our need, whatever the need, to be met. You are not going to come up with something that God has not already planned for. Before God created man, he had already created the earth, the stars, moon, sun, prepared the land, and food for man’s provision. (Genesis 1:3-25) Before God brought the Israelites into the promised land, He prepared the land, land flowing with milk and honey. A land with houses that the Israelites did not have to build. (Deuteronomy 6:10-11)
Jesus was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8) “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).
Confession: Forgiveness of our sins, and physical healing for our physical body has already been provided. The Lord foreknew we would need them, and true to His foresight, and wisdom, and compassion, He has already provided. We are healed by the stripes of Jesus!
