There’s nothing like getting to hang out with the MOB before a wedding! I love hearing about the bride and groom from mom’s perspective. This mom in particular was the sweetest!

How stunning is this bridesmaid? Danielle runs several businesses but always takes the time to take care of her gorgeous skin. She made my job too easy! We had a great time discussing our favorite beauty products.

Super soft, natural makeup for this alternative bride. We opted out of lashes and instead played with some sparkle on the eyes.

Every so often I have Paul pick a color or two to give me a little creative restriction. Today he picked blue and peach! Here’s what happened. 🍑💧

When I was in middle school, there was a high schooler that would use a fat pencil eyeshadow stick to draw a big line along her upper lash line and that was it.. well, I thought it was the coolest freaking look - so I bought two shadow sticks to copy! I think they were cover girl. One was a frosty baby blue, the other a frosty pale mint green. 😬 I put those bad boys to work lining my upper lash line every day. No blending, no mascara.. I’m pretty sure I looked like an alien. 🤪 After many, many years of work, I feel like I’ve gotten a bit better at wearing blue eyeliner.
Those days were long before Instagram and Facebook. Thank God!! Please share your crazy makeup beginnings with me!

Quarantine is the perfect time to try new things! For me, it’s the Glossier brow flick. I definitely need more practice, but it’s an awesome too if - like me - your brows are sparse and light. I blended the felt pen with Glossier boy Brow to soften and add a little color variation.
