I started something new....

Hello, and welcome!
I’m Meg, a 54-year-old wife, mother, naturopath, artist, bulldog enthusiast, and lifelong learner in a brand-new season of life.

After 27 years of marriage to my amazing husband James, and a beautiful, sometimes messy, always meaningful journey of raising a blended family of four, we’ve officially entered the “empty nest” chapter. For many years, I poured my heart into homeschooling, homemaking, and caring for my sweet mom, who has lived with dementia for the past 18 years.

Those years were full, intense, sacred, and at times, exhausting. But now, for the first time in decades, the house is quiet—and so am I. There’s space now… space to reflect, to breathe, and to rediscover who I am outside of caregiving and parenting.

I hold a doctorate in naturopathic medicine, and over the years I’ve found immense joy in teaching others how to live well—naturally. I believe in nourishing meals, in listening to the body’s wisdom, and in living as close to the earth as possible. You’ll often find me cooking up something wholesome in my kitchen or educating others about nutrition, herbs, and holistic wellness.

My home is a hobby farm haven, where English bulldogs snore contentedly at my feet, goats occasionally cause mischief, and the sunsets still take my breath away. I paint in oils—usually inspired by the peace and beauty around me (especially our dogs)—and I’ve always felt most alive when I’m creating something, whether it’s a canvas, a healing recipe, or a new business idea.

Yes, I’ve worn many hats over the years:

Gourmet meal delivery chef

And so many more entrepreneurial experiments along the way!

I’ve gathered a lifetime of wisdom through trial, error, and intuition. This blog is my place to share what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and what I’m dreaming of next.
