Today in the news there was yet another study linking permanent hair color to cancer. As an experienced educator and stylist I made a decision years ago to go clean with my hair color because I discovered that the United States does not have high enough standards governing toxic ingredients in these products!

Many countries outside of the US do not allow carcinogens in their products and manufacturers in these countries have developed permanent hair color products that pass strict green standards that are far more accountable than US standards. My hair products are shipped across an ocean from Denmark (IdHair-my primary color line) and Italy (Davines) and I am happy to cover this cost to provide a healthy solution! I’ve personally been to both factories. My hair color from Denmark has the following credentials:

*Vegan
*Gluten free
"Resorcinol free
"PPD free
*Ammonia-free
"Non allergenic perfumes
"Packaging made from recycled and recyclable material

I chose to protect myself, my customers, my profession and my planet years ago!

My products come from privately owned companies with owners who care and know where their ingredients come from.

If they ever choose to sell out to a big conglomerate like so many of the US manufacturers do, I will keep searching for only the BEST! That’s my philosophy and my pledge!
