Friends, feel free to use our discount code to level up your wet shave game.

Blackbird is designed, machined, and finished in the United States. With looks inspired by the iconic SR-71 "Blackbird" reconnaissance aircraft, the Blackbird razor is as visually striking as it is functional.

This is a very sleek and eye-catching razor — it feels like a piece of fine jewelry. I told my wife that one day my son will own this razor.

Worth the investment!

With Noah Kahan's album "The Great Divide" at #1 in the United States right now, I keep coming back to a gig from two years ago.

The New York Times hired me to cut and style his hair at his dad's house in Strafford, Vermont. When I got the call I didn't actually know who he was, but I listened to his album Stick Season on the drive up.

I arrived early and was greeted by Josh — Noah's dad — who made me coffee, introduced me to their dogs, and walked me around the house and the loft where Noah stayed during COVID and wrote the album. If you know Stick Season, he really did have empty orange juice bottles lined up on the wall.

I offered Josh a haircut while we waited, since Noah was grabbing a sandwich in town. Josh had suffered a traumatic brain injury from a bicycle accident years prior, rarely left the property, and had been cutting his own hair for a long time — a self-described hermit. He wasn't expecting a barber at his house that day, let alone a haircut in his own living room.

Noah arrived and Josh stayed with us in the room while Noah shared the details of his recent engagement — he'd proposed in Mexico at a festival the month prior. We figured out that Noah and I had lived three blocks from each other in Watertown, MA, where his girlfriend at the time was teaching and I was running City Wine Tours in Boston. We talked about Nashville and New York and of course Vermont. He'd been a struggling singer-songwriter for a decade before his first break. All of this new fame was palpable.

I could feel something in that room. A father who raised his son in a small Vermont town — he'd sweetly call him "Noahy" — who watched him leave and watched the whole world claim him. And a son still trying to be both things at once.

That kind of love doesn't always sound like pride. Sometimes it sounds like "two hundred years we laid bricks in the dirt" and "you ain't a goddamn hero 'cause you cry on live TV."

A lot of people think "Haircut" is about a fellow musician. I'm not so sure. I was in that room. I just didn't know I was watching a song get written.

Take a listen!

Honored to have welcomed the Foo Fighters and Frankie and the Witch Fingers to Total Mortgage Arena for a SOLD-OUT, nearly three-hour set from one of the world’s greatest rock bands.

We had the opportunity to spend two days on-site, pampering arena staff, local crews, tour management, the band, and their families—delivering a great experience here in Connecticut.

Truly inspiring to work alongside so many talented and committed team members who bring these performances to life.

Special thanks to Marc, Cameron, and Joe for the trust in us.

Eleanor + Alex // Boston Public Library

Inspired by the works of Alphonse Mucha, E.A. Abbey, and the Belle Époque, Whim Events created a dramatic and elegant wedding at the historic Boston Public Library.

For Eleanor, a librarian, and Alex, an artist, they drew from the Belle Époque to create a night that felt less like an event and more like a story guests were invited to step inside.

Alex treated his best men to traditional straight-razor shaves, haircuts, styling, massages, and facials, paired with bourbon and ci**rs.

Congratulations to you both and thank you for the opportunity! Truly one of the most well executed weddings I have had the honor of serving.
