Owner of Hair Color by Joseph, has been a hair colorist since 1982. He educated for Clairol Logics and appeared in their educational video. He was one of ten chosen by Logics International, as a Master Colorist. Joseph served on the Goldwell Artistic Team for 2-1/2 years, traveling to various east coast and mid-west cities, teaching other hairdressers his methods. After that, he stayed closer to home, in Westchester, NY and Connecticut, teaching colorists about Redken products.

A light “brownette” need not be boring. This look was created by carefully adding high and lowlights, and then glazing the hair. It now has dimension, tone and shine.

Summertime is over and hair color needs a seasonal correction.

Happy autumn! Yesterday I had the privilege to work with a new client, who knew her heavy blonde highlights did not flatter her. With her warm complexion, beautiful blue eyes, and lightest honey brown natural hair color, the blonde washed her out. Her wish was to return close to natural, with a bit of enhancement.
I happily obliged, by highlighting, lowlighting, and glazing her hair, with four different formulas.
We were both very pleased!
