Hot take: I hate low lights.

Of course at times they’re necessary, and then yes, I will do them. But the truth is they’re going to oxidize, fade & then disappear yet still leave an ugly warmth behind

I’d muchhhh rather use techniques to avoid them.

Is anyone else with me on this one??

If you’re going to airtouch, you need to be prepared to use thinnnn sections.

Thicker sections compact the hair and restrict airflow from reaching the entire section, ultimately stopping the shorter hairs from being pushed out. And if the shorter hairs aren’t being pushed out, you’re not getting the soft, seamless result that makes airtouch worth doing in the first place.

Thin sections let the air do its job.
