How much hair you have on your body and head is determined by your genes. A single hair has a normal life between 2-6 years. That hair then falls out and is replaced with a new hair. Nearly everyone has some hair loss with aging. The rate of hair growth also slows as you age.
Did you know? As Women age they may lose body hair. Facial hair may also be lost, but hairs that remain (especially on the face) may become coarser, especially on the chin and around the lips. Men grow longer and coarser eyebrow, ear and nose hair. The best way to get rid of this unwanted hair is Electrolysis.
If you have a sudden loss of hair, this can be a symptom of a health problem, so please contact your health care provider.
