I read an article on the colonial era and was shocked by how they make this sound repulsive when, in reality, it is not. In actuality, the first soap was made with potassium hydroxide. It was made from fire ash and then mixed with animal fat. They were making soap! It would have been softer soap than what we know today, but liquid hand soap is still made using potassium hydroxide. I imagine they placed small amounts of liquid potassium hydroxide soap in a sink with all their dishes, washed and rinsed as we do today.

The scent has a medium strength, and the perfume vial is a strong strength, so fun and cute. Tutankhamun Camel Milk Soap is my favorite, and Kevin prefers Cleopatra, but honestly, they are all so good it's hard to decide. Just a reminder, these are skin-loving, luxury bars, so use them up. Lots in the making at Meade’s Pure Soap! Here we are rendering down beef tallow!! Thanks to Your Choice Meets in Wiggins, CO. We will carry a beef tallow soap. This process is time-consuming, but the results are so worth it!! Tallow soap is THE BEST SOAP, in our opinion. The skin benefits are immeasurable, the lather is beautiful, and it makes a long-lasting hard bar. We have been looking forward to doing this for a long time, and we can not wait! 😊

Three of the six soaps made with camel milk from Camelot Camel Dairy, LLC. It’s so hard not to cut into these and see how they look on the inside. They all smell exotic, cozy, sweet, and just yummy! From left to right, we have Queen Of The Dunes with musky floral scent and Jasmine flowers. Next is King Of The Sands, which also has a musky note but is a primarily a fresh scent. Last we have Camel Milk & Honey, and it smells lovely with notes of almond honey and warm milk!
