Assisted with pantry preparation today. There was an overflow of produce. Volunteers took the overflow with instructions to give to friends, family, acquaintances, etc…

Now, those that know me well know my heart of grace and my history of community outreach
I went to the grocery store to re-up on water.
I sat in the car thinking of who I could bless with the fresh produce. I mean, I acquainted with a lot of people, but I don’t know a lot of people 😌☺️🙃
I decided to go to the trunk to sort and re-bag the items for even distribution. The grocery store was crowded. As I sorted I began to scan the people coming out of the store and immediately smiled from the inside out
God is so intentional. ☺️🙌🏽

Me: “Hi. Would you like fresh blueberries, apples, pears? Do you like Brussels sprouts? Cilantro? I have fresh bagged salads, would you like some? I have plenty to share”

People: “For real? Are you sure?”

Me: “Yes! My church family, Spirit and Truth, were working our food pantry in preparation for tomorrow’s Palm Sunday service and we had overflow that we would like to share!”

People: “ Wow! That is so kind. You have such a kind spirit and gentle smile.”

Me: “That kindness overflows at Spirit and Truth and we would LOVE it of you would come visit with us tomorrow. We habw multiple locations and service times to accommodate you.”
Now my smile is beaming from the inside out even brighter.

People (from several surrounding parking spaces): “What did you say the name of your church is? Where is the Atlanta location? Where is the McDonough location?? What are the service times?

Me: 🤳"Let me show you!”
