Career Day at JM Hill Elementary was EVERYTHING 😊and was truly inspiring! I loved introducing these future leaders to the world of esthetics, where beauty meets brains and creativity.

The excitement in their eyes, their thoughtful questions, and infectious energy… it’s contagious and leaves me hopeful for the future! Something tells me there were a few future Esthies listening and I can’t WAIT to see what the future holds for them!

The entire month of March, my students showed up ready to learn, lead, and think deeper about the industry they’re stepping into.

With March being Women’s History Month, I had them research and present on a woman who made a lasting impact on the beauty industry- women who didn’t just exist in the space, but redefined standards, shifted narratives, and elevated what this industry looks like today.

From Rihanna changing the conversation around inclusivity, to Estée Lauder and Elizabeth Arden building legacies that still shape us, to Barbara Sturm blending science with skincare, and Shannon McLinden leading with purpose- these women set the tone for what excellence looks like.

And now? My students are next.

So proud of their research, their presentations, and the way they’re beginning to see themselves as future leaders in this industry. Because the standard isn’t just something you follow… it’s something you raise ✨

Who said studying for State Board had to be boring?
This Valentine’s Day we stacked knowledge and built confidence one Jenga block at a time as students prepare to take the State Board Exams. 💕📚

My students had the privilege of learning from Trisha Holt, owner of , who shared powerful insight on entrepreneurship, brand growth, and life after licensure. Students also witnessed a live eyebrow wax demonstration, experiencing professional precision, confidence, and elevated client care in action.
