Always a Goddess:
The word Easter derived from the word Eostre is the name of the Germanic name of the Spring Goddess( the name later was adopted by the pagan ritual Ostara ). Eostre was connected with spring as she is the exuberant, developing adolescent (maiden) moving forward with confidence and adventure. She loves the world and all that's in it, to her it's a magical place filled with wonder, beauty and endless possibilities. Her innocence teaches us to to trust our intuition and to view the world with "child like " wonder. Eostre/Easters animal is the "Hare" as he shows his frisky self after a long cold winter. The bunny emerges from his winter home anxiously seeking a gal by performing his mating ritual of hopping and dancing about in circles to attract the ladies. The lore continues with baskets, eggs and bright colors all to welcome new beginnings. which will lead us right into Beltaine ( soon to come), for today brothers and sisters, Happy Eostre... I mean Easter!

The blue moon is upon us in all its beauty, mystical charm and much ado of its spiritual power. The beams of the "blue moon" are so believed to tug at ones heart strings both in a positive and negative sense. As the line in the song ; "blue moon you left me standing alone..." on a positive note > picking flowers or berries during a "blue moon" will bring abundance and beauty to your life. The energy of its beams are believed by many to hold fertility powers as a woman yearning for a child would turn her bed towards the the rays to make her more fertile. Rituals surrounding the "blue moon" is to bring closure to a phase in your life which no longer serves you,( the end of a cycle, beginning of a new). Well this one is fully charged as it is the last blue one of 2018 and may turn bright red before your eyes before it turns its face away. It's in perfect timing to let go of whats been hanging around you sisters and brothers. So it goes "once in a blue moon".

I woke up to the sound of rushing water . The source of the sound was a pipe that burst from the cold in my basement. My plumber friend stopped off on his way to work and fixed the problem within minutes . However the rest of my morning was spent wading through water throwing out sopping wet debris into large black plastic bags . It was such a mess I did not think twice about what I threw out , my only motive was to fill the sacks and tug them to the curb. The job was finally finished. Standing at the end of my drive I stood admiring the fortress of discard I created thinking “ it needed to be cleaned out anyway”.
The moral to this story is : iElements are powerful guardians > Earth, Air, Fire ,Water. When they are presented to you they are giving you a message; be mindful., listen . Or a pipe may burst and you have no choice but to fix it and clean up the mess .
My basement right now is very clean.
