Shades of Excellence has been open in two locations in North Charleston from 1995 until 2010. Each stylist is self employed. Penny was trained in New York.

We moved to Summerville in April 2010.Our hours are by appointment. This Salon has 2 Cosmetologist's with 50 yrs of experience between them. Prior to having this MRI Guided Focused Ultrasound treatment my right had shook a lot. I know it caused me to lose some clients, and I was even told of a woman that said that she would go to him, but his hands shake.

I have many great clients. But over the past year I’ve been getting rid of challenging clients. Negative unhappy people just go away. I just had a procedure where they used very strong ultrasound sound on my brain to stop essential tremors of my right hand. The Drs told me it is basically brain surgery i have been a cosmetologist for 36 yrs and l am 64 years old I still love what I do and do not usually post personal stuff Despite the fact that i have been married to a female for 20 great years. There are people who believe in stereotypes more than my marriage license Jenny Eckert you are the best and I Love you with all of my heart I am planning on going back to work next week I love my many Great clients If you are sick mentality , move along.
