Part 1: Your shower routine matters more than you think.

Charleston is gorgeous… but the sun, saltwater, chlorine, humidity, and hard water can have your blonde fighting for its life. 😂

Start with a gentle, color-safe shampoo. Harsh or overly clarifying shampoos can strip your toner faster, which means those yellow and orange tones may show up sooner.

💜 Purple shampoo is not your everyday shampoo.
Use it when your blonde actually starts looking yellow—not just because you own it.

Examples:
• Your creamy blonde suddenly looks buttery
• The pieces around your face look warmer
• Your blonde looks yellow in natural lighting

Usually once every week or two is plenty. Too much can leave the hair dry, dull, or slightly lavender.

🚿 A shower filter can be a game changer.
Charleston-area water can leave mineral buildup on the hair. A filter may help your blonde stay brighter, feel softer, look shinier, and hold onto toner longer.

🏖️ Pool or beach day?
Wet your hair with clean water before getting in so it absorbs less chlorine or saltwater. Rinse it as soon as possible afterward, shampoo gently, condition well, and follow with a hydrating mask.

Basically: protect your blonde before the fun, rinse off the evidence after. 😂🌊
