Laser PMU removal is not simply about “erasing old pigment.”
It is a process that requires a professional approach, understanding of the skin, and patience.
When should you consider removal?
— unwanted shape
— pigment color changes (gray, blue, or red tones)
— overly saturated or dark PMU
— asymmetry
— desire for a softer, more natural result
— preparation for new high-quality PMU
It is important to understand:
laser removal does not always eliminate pigment in one session. The number of treatments depends on:
— pigment depth
— pigment color and composition
— the age of the old PMU
— individual skin and immune system characteristics
What should you expect after the procedure?
✔️ redness
✔️ mild skin sensitivity
✔️ gradual fading over the following weeks
✔️ sometimes temporary color changes before further lightening
This is normal and part of the process.
It is also important to speak honestly about the risks:
— temporary darkening of certain pigments
— the need for multiple sessions
— risk of irritation with improper aftercare
— in rare cases, changes in skin texture after aggressive treatment
That is why choosing an experienced specialist is so important — someone who understands not only how to work with a laser, but also how the skin behaves during the healing process.
Removal is not about “quick results.”
It is about carefully, safely, and gradually restoring the skin to a cleaner and more natural appearan

Can you get PMU during pregnancy or while taking hormones? 🤍
Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications for permanent makeup procedures. During this time, the body becomes more sensitive, hormone levels change, and the healing process can be unpredictable. The safety of both mother and baby always comes first.
As for taking hormones — in most cases, this is not a contraindication. Thyroid medication, birth control, hormone therapy, or menopause usually do not prevent you from getting PMU.
However, hormonal changes may slightly affect skin sensitivity, healing, and pigment retention, so it is always important to inform your artist about any medications you are taking in advance ✨

Removal is not only about “erasing.”
It’s about the opportunity to start fresh and bring harmony back to your look ✨
Over time, permanent makeup can change in color or shape — or simply stop reflecting who you are today.
Sometimes correcting old work becomes an important step toward feeling confident again.
Modern removal methods help gently and gradually fade unwanted pigment while preserving the quality of the skin.
The procedure is suitable for:
• old permanent makeup
• unwanted shape or color
• pigment migration
• preparing the skin for new, more refined permanent makeup
Every case is unique.
The number of sessions depends on the depth of the pigment, its composition, the age of the work, and individual skin characteristics.
My goal is to make this process as safe, delicate, and aesthetic as possible 🤍

TOP mistakes artists and clients make that ruin permanent makeup results
Permanent makeup is not just about technique — it’s teamwork between the artist and the client.
Even beautiful work can heal poorly when important details are ignored.
Here are the most common mistakes that can affect the final result:
Mistakes artists make:
• Working too deep into the skin
This can cause blurred pigment, scarring, and unnatural color changes over time.
• Choosing the wrong pigment
Skin tone, undertone, age, previous work, and lifestyle all matter. One pigment does not fit everyone.
• Following trends instead of facial harmony
Permanent makeup should enhance features, not overpower them.
• Poor consultation
Not discussing healing, expectations, skin type, medical history, or aftercare often leads to disappointment.
• Overworking the skin
More passes do not mean better retention. Healthy skin heals beautifully.
⸻
Mistakes clients make:
• Not following aftercare instructions
Picking, excessive moisture, sweating, sun exposure, and skincare acids can dramatically affect healing.
• Expecting immediate final results
Fresh permanent makeup is not the healed result. True color and softness appear after healing.
• Hiding previous procedures
Old pigment, laser removal, fillers, or skin treatments should always be discussed beforehand.
• Coming to the appointment with damaged or sensitized skin
Retinol, acids, sunburn, and recent cosmetic procedures can compromise the result.
• Choosing an artist based only on price
Corrective work is always more expensive emotionally, financially, and physically.
⸻
Beautiful permanent makeup is a combination of:
skill + skin + healing + communication.
The best results always look effortless, soft, and natural — never rushed or overdone.

Why Permanent Makeup Changes Color Over Time
One of the most common questions I hear is:
“Why does permanent makeup change color over time?”
It’s important to say this first:
✨ when the pigment is chosen correctly, permanent makeup should NOT change color.
It may gradually fade and become lighter, but it should never turn into unwanted shades.
So why do color changes sometimes happen?
▫️ Incorrect pigment selection
The pigment’s composition, base, and undertone are crucial. Mistakes at this stage are the most common reason for undesirable color changes over time.
▫️ Depth of implantation
Pigment placed too deeply can result in grey, blue, or cold tones over time. Permanent makeup must be implanted at the correct skin depth.
▫️ Skin type and individual characteristics
Oily skin, an active metabolism, or hormonal changes can affect how quickly pigment fades — but not its color when the pigment is chosen correctly.
▫️ UV exposure and aggressive skincare
Sun exposure, tanning beds, acids, retinol, and frequent chemical peels can accelerate fading.
✨ The key takeaway:
High-quality permanent makeup is not about “forever” — it’s about proper pigment selection, balance, and a professional approach.
The color should age beautifully, without unpleasant surprises 🤍

Does permanent makeup hurt?
Expectations vs Reality
Expectation:
Pain. Tears. Fear.
You imagine a needle, blood, and that you’ll have to “be brave” the whole session.
Reality:
Discomfort — yes.
Pain — rarely.
Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching, pressure, or tingling.
Modern techniques, high-quality pigments, and effective numbing make permanent makeup much more comfortable than people expect.
Brows are usually the easiest.
Lips can be more sensitive, but still very tolerable.
Eyeliner depends on individual sensitivity.
The key truth:
👉 Anxiety hurts more than the procedure itself.
When you relax, breathe, and trust your specialist, your body relaxes too.
Permanent makeup today is not about pain —
it’s about precision, experience, and gentle work with your skin.
✨ Expect calm.
✨ Expect comfort.
✨ Expect better than you imagined.

Permanent Eyeliner
Just like with permanent makeup for brows and lips, eyeliner tattooing can achieve completely different results — from a subtle, almost invisible lash enhancement that softly defines the eyes, to a bold, expressive wing for those who love a more dramatic look.
A common question is: Will the eyeliner change color over time?
No. For clients whose skin may not suit a bold look or whose pigment could turn bluish over time, I never do such bright work as shown in the photo. But for some, it’s the perfect option — it looks striking, beautiful, and does not turn blue over time. The longevity of this work is up to 3 years ✨
In this case, the goal was to cover the remnants of an old eyeliner, done by another artist. We accomplished this perfectly, resulting in a clean and harmonious look 💕
I see clients in Hallandale.
