One day she’ll be too big for my arms, but today she’s still reaching for the world while holding onto me.

This weekend was full of pine trees, campfires, laughter, dirt-covered shoes, and the kind of peace you can only find when life slows down for a minute. Watching Iris explore the woods for the first time reminded me how beautiful the simple things really are. The sunlight through the trees. Tiny hands reaching for everything. The wonder in her eyes over things we often overlook.

Motherhood has changed me in ways I never expected. It has stretched me, humbled me, exhausted me, and healed pieces of me I didn’t even know were broken. There are days that feel overwhelming, and there are days like this one—where time seems to stand still long enough for me to realize just how lucky I am.

A few years ago, I was dreaming about the life I’m living now. Not a perfect life, but a beautiful one. A husband who loves us fiercely, two incredible kids, a growing business built from scratch, and moments like these tucked away in the middle of a forest.

This season of life is busy. It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s full of responsibilities and endless to-do lists. But it’s also full of tiny hands, belly laughs, camping trips, golden sunsets, and memories I never want to forget.

If I could bottle up this moment forever, I would.
