How fun are these foils!? First time using and it will definitely not be my last. They haven’t ripped or poked through at all and I’m sort of rough on my foils ha. Really like them alot 12/10!

Life lately… lots of dogs.

Bringing her closer to her natural while still keeping dimension. Did an all over color using shades EQ and then foiled with conditioner cause she already was pretty light. Toned at the bowl. Boom.

She’s been using box color so shades felt the safest to me so we don’t risk compromising her hair. Subtle changes make a big impact.

This was supposed to be posted weeks ago 🤣 my beautiful client Mary has amazing hair and she’s an amazing woman. We usually do foils to help blend her grays while giving her lots of dimension without making her a blonde.
Well, back in December I accidentally mixed her lowlight formula up and did a full head of foils with it. It was my biggest pregnancy brain oopsies that I have had. She was so patient and understanding that I had totally made a mistake. We agreed that she should come back in a few weeks after that so we could see if it would fade and not over process her hair.

As you can see in this photo the color came out gorgeous once we added those highlights back in. I strive to always be upfront and honest when I’m with my clients. I want you all to trust me while also understanding I’m human and will sometimes make mistakes. I think it’s how those mistakes get handled that really shows someone’s true character.

Used the Ocean Dipped placement I learned a few weeks ago. It gives big dimension while being flexible for your client. We want to be brunette focused. This is also great if you want a brighter, more blonde while still embracing your brunette

2026 is going to look a little different…. My hours are changing, but are still very flexible to accommodate morning and evening appointments. I am going to be double booking haircuts between color appointments. If you are not open to double booking you need to have your form filled out when confirming appointments. I always do my best to ask, but I do not have the time to always do that. Help me out and I’ll do my best to accommodate your preferences.

Lighting is so important!
Outside her color looks brighter and more cool toned.
Inside with minimal lighting it looks more warm, brunette vibes.
Inside with outside lighting coming in we see this fun bronde.

We did bronde, but the lighting she’s in will reflect the color differently. It’s normal. So don’t stress if your color looks different depending on the lighting your in 🥰
