The death toll from breast cancer has not changed in 25 years. We have spent billions of dollars. Treated millions of women. And roughly the same number of women die every year. I have been a breast cancer doctor for over 25 years. And I can tell you that what we are doing is not working. We are finding more cancer than ever before. We are treating more women than ever before. But we are not saving more lives. And nobody is asking why. Here is what I know after 25 years of caring for women with this disease. We are overtreating cancers that would never have harmed anyone. We are ignoring the biology that creates cancer in the first place. And we are failing women by telling them that a mammogram once a year is enough. It is not enough. Not even close. This isn’t prevention. Hormonal environment. Metabolic health. Inflammation. Ladies, listen up! “Mammoh-grams” aren’t just ineffective, I’m saying they’re dangerous. A massive Canadian study followed over 90,000 women for 25 years and found no difference in breast cancer deaths between those who got mammoh-grams and those who didn’t. And one-third of the tumors detected were overdiagnosed, which basically means they never would’ve caused harm. Each scan exposes you to radiation that damages DNA and raises long-term cancer risk. And that compression? It can rupture blood vessels and potentially spread malignant cells through breast tissue via your lymphatic system. If I were a woman, here’s what I’d do instead: • Thermography – it detects subtle heat changes from inflammation and abnormal blood flow (early warning signs) without radiation or pain. • Breast Ultrasound – safe sound waves that can see through dense breast tissue and tell the difference between cysts and tumors. • Perfection Scan – this one’s next-level. It reads energetic and lymphatic imbalances long before tumors form, showing patterns of stress, hormone disruption, or organ weakness that lead to disease. These methods find problems earlier, without harm. Women deserve safer options that don’t cause the very thing they’re supposed to prevent.
