Three years ago, I took a chance on myself and opened Darlene Nails LLC.

At the time, I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew I loved nails, loved creating art, and dreamed of building something that felt like my own little corner of the world.

Over the last three years, I've painted thousands of nails, met some of the most incredible people, celebrated milestones with clients, cried with clients, laughed until my stomach hurt, and watched complete strangers become friends.

Running a business hasn't always been easy. There were stressful days, slow days, days I questioned myself, and days I wanted to give up. But there were also days that reminded me exactly why I started.

This little witchy nail studio has become so much more than a place to get your nails done. It's become a community, a creative outlet, and a dream come true.

To every single person who has booked an appointment, shared my work, referred a friend, liked a post, or supported me in any way—thank you. You helped make this weird little dream a reality.

Here's to three years of growth, creativity, and amazing clients.

I wanted to make a post explaining why I don’t offer nail enhancements for clients under 16. This policy is completely about protecting long-term nail health — not excluding younger clients.
Young nails are still developing and are much softer, thinner, and more flexible than fully developed adult nails. Enhancements like Gel-X, acrylic, and structured overlays can put stress on growing nails and increase the risk of damage, lifting, sensitivity, and long-term nail issues.
I care deeply about natural nail health and making sure every service I offer is safe, responsible, and appropriate for the client receiving it.
I’m still happy to offer gel polish manicures and simple nail art for younger clients so they can safely enjoy fun nails without risking damage ✨

Moving again .... but don’t panic 😌
I know that probably made a few of you nervous for a sec… gotcha.
No tea to spill, no drama, nothing wild. Abby and I just both needed a little more room, so I’m simply moving down the hall from Unit A to Unit F.
Same building. Same vibes. Same nails. 💅

One important update with the move: I’m switching my booking back to Square, so you’ll be getting new confirmation texts for upcoming appointments. If you already have something booked, keep an eye out—everything will still be good to go.
