My client wanted a hairstyle that was easy to manage, without all the frizz! With Mom’s encouragement, we decided on a smoothing treatment to help tame her curls, reduce frizz, and make styling easier.

We also gave her a fresh haircut to remove those split ends and create beautiful shape, movement, and flow!

But the BEST part? 🥹❤️ When she saw her transformation, she was so happy she almost cried! Moments like these remind me why I love what I do!

🎃 STORYTIME: A Hair Nightmare Behind the Chair! 😱💇🏽‍♀️

This full sew-in weave turned into a hairstylist’s worst nightmare! My client was on a budget, so I suggested she purchase her own hair from the beauty supply store. BIG MISTAKE! 😩

Instead of quality human hair bundles, she came back with SYNTHETIC HAIR! And guess what? I ended up having to redo the ENTIRE weave! 🤦🏽‍♀️

But I’ll take some responsibility because I should’ve been more specific about what hair to purchase.

Lesson learned: Never assume your client knows the difference between synthetic and human hair! 😂
