Proud is an understatement. Andrew, this has been your dream since as long as I can remember. This was plan A, B, C, and D and you were DETERMINED to see it through no matter how many obstacles stood in your way.
Hearing you be announced as DOCTOR McLain yesterday was surreal and something I’ll remember for the rest of our lives.
I vividly remember speaking to a physician back when you first got accepted into medical school and they looked at ME with wide eyes and said GOOD LUCK, knowing how the journey can change and test an individual and their relationships. And I can say I am HONORED to have been a part of your journey. Your drive, commitment, and passion are all qualities that made me fall in love with you. And even among the stress and overwhelm of medical school, you still managed to put myself and Clementine first. You’ve always let me know that being a doctor is important, but being a husband and dad takes first place.

Congratulations to my incredible husband. The medical field is a better place with you in it.

I don’t even know where to start! Our Italian vacation with Cutie girl🍊 was one of our best yet. The perfect mix of relaxing, eating, strolling, go-with-the-baby-flow European summer our little family was craving. Clementine did great on the plane and loved meeting new friends who baby-talked to her in Italian. Our little bambina was quite the star!

Our whole trip was in the Region of ✨PUGLIA✨, where we rented a car and traveled up and down the coast. This was our first home base of ✨MONOPOLI✨

9 months In-n-out 🍔

Becoming your Mama has been the single best thing to happen to me. My life was instantly filled with purpose and overwhelming happiness. It feels like I walked into Oz, suddenly life is in color and I had no idea I was living in B&W. I’m cheesy and emotional and happy crying ALL of the time. I don’t recognize myself, my body, my relationships. Some things matter more, others matter less. Life is slower, but is also racing by too fast.

It’s indescribable until you’re in it. And I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the mom club. I prayed for you for so long and you came at exactly the perfect time. Life is so good.🍊

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas out there. The first time moms, the moms-to-be, the angel baby moms, the mother figures, the pet moms(s/o to the crazy cat ladies), and the moms in heaven.
