She comes in every 8 weeks to cover up her sparkles, a re-gloss to help control the tone of her highlights, with a trim to clean up her ends & keep her hair healthy. 💪🏽
3 hours of YOU time!! 🥰

We keep her routine simple, after 2 touch up appointments we then do a couple foils for soft dimension. Enough to add a pop around her face & in her crown to help blend out her regrowth.

This was her first time coming back after 9months & in desperate need of some mommy time. She came in ready for a change & wanting something different. With no inspo picture she said "do whatever I trust you". She's naturally a strawberry blonde, a new mommy (little to no time), didn't want to commit to a permanent color & still wanted something low maintenance. We decided to shift some things around & even out our pallet.

It all started with cutting about 4 inches off the bottom ✂️

When reached out to me way back in April she shared with me that since her last haircut, she had some trust issues 😬 She told me her main goals were to get a good cut as well as camouflaging some sparkle. She was willing to wait till this mama got back to work from maternity leave & I'm so lucky she did! 🥰

Her inspo photos showed me that she was ready for some movement in her hair with soft layers around her face. We talked more in depth about color options best suited for her day to day life style, work limitations, as well ideal maintenance routine 💁🏽‍♀️

2015 was the last time she had her hair professionally done and I was so excited to take on this transformation 💪🏽

Wanting to keep her dark and dimensional, I added a soft face framing pop with just a few pieces to break up her crown. Using my lowlight formula to cover up some sparkle was the best way to add intentional depth through out her problem areas. The overall gloss was the 🤌🏽 perfect way to add richness to this look as well as beautiful shine ✨

Keeping as much length as possible & adding some beautiful layers around her face was her main goal with the haircut 💇🏻‍♀️ With internal layering I find that it's the best way to add some flair to your hair without committing yourself to the work of traditional layers. My low maintenance clients just love this cutting technique I use often 💕

Covering up her sparkles was number one on the list of course but we also discussed her wanting to add a little more pop around her face. Making sure to not over do it with the highlights was key to pulling off the perfect transformation. Soft & Subtle ✅

REMEMBER... controlled/intensional warmth is important when in comes to being a natural brunette.

I went in the back & created my version of ✨Bronde✨ I had a lot of unwanted warmth to get through so I added a little of this, a bit more of that & just a slash of that 😜 It's not easy being a full time chemist (7NWB/8N/8NW/8NA/9NV) 👩🏽‍🔬

☀️ Summer Tips ☀️

✨ Do frequent hair mask🧴- especially if your out in the sun/swimming/using hot tools to style.

✨ Rinse with cool/warm water 💦 - helps keep all the moisture in & minimizes frizz.

✨ AirDry/Lower Tool Temperature 🌬 - the less heat,the less damage you create. Make sure to use a leave in conditioner that also has heat protectant in it 💪🏽

My client came in wanting something more low maintenance & a little easier to grow into. I broke up her 3 inches of regrowth with some two tone highlights & a root smudge to blend in with her natural root color.

I love using the two tones initially when creating looks for my clients, especially ones with dark hair like mine. Golden tones are perfect for creating a more natural lived-in look, well because it's what our hair naturally wants to show off (it's undertones). I'm able to gain control of just just how "wam/gold/red" it can be. My gloss formulations brings the look together to show off what the last two hours of foiling was for 😜
