As a helpful reminder, consuming more vitamin C while taking iron can be beneficial for people with . When taking your oral iron drink a glass of orange juice with it.🍊

🤓 Nerd Alert:
Vitamin C can create a more acidic environment in the stomach and prevent the oxidization of ferrous iron (Fe²+) to ferric iron (Fe³+). You want more ferrous iron because this is the most absorbed form.👩🏽‍🏫
