This July, The Hive Beauty Lounge and Meraki Designer Salon are partnering to support the incredible teachers in our community by collecting new classroom supplies from July 1st through August 1st.

📚 Teachers: We’d love for you to stop by either salon and leave a printed copy of your Amazon wish list (or a QR code). We’ll display them so anyone who would like to purchase items specifically for your classroom can easily do so!

How do y’all feel about AI when it comes to editing lash photos?

I’ve been experimenting with it, and honestly, it’s wild what it can do. But I’ve also been learning how much you can improve a photo just using iPhone editing tools, good lighting, and yes… a little Facetune here and there for minor tweaks. 😂

Personally, I think there’s a big difference between enhancing a photo and changing the actual results. My goal will always be to show the work as accurately as possible while making the photo look its best.

🍯✨ TWO YEARS OF HONEY LASH BEAUTY CO. ✨🍯

Two years ago, HLBC was just a dream, a few products, and a small corner in my lash room.

I invested thousands of dollars into this brand, spent countless hours researching, testing, packing orders, and building something I believed in—even during the seasons when I’d get one order a week, or sometimes one every two weeks.

But I kept showing up.

Over the last two years, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with local beauty schools, visit high school cosmetology programs, attend community events, teach future artists, and grow a brand that means so much to me.

Then in October 2025, I opened the doors to my own salon, The Hive Beauty Lounge. 🐝 What started in a corner of a lash room now has its own storefront inside a salon I once only dreamed of owning.

To every customer, student, artist, friend, and supporter—thank you. Every order, share, review, and word of encouragement helped make this possible.

I had the opportunity to work one-on-one with Maddi, and from the very beginning I could tell she had something special. Not only is she incredibly sweet and eager to learn, but she picked up techniques so quickly and showed so much natural talent behind the tweezers.

Over the course of training, I watched her confidence grow with every set, and seeing those lightbulb moments click into place is exactly why I love teaching. She asked questions, took feedback, put in the work, and continued to improve every step of the way.

Maddi, thank you for trusting me to be a part of your journey. I am so proud of how far you’ve come in such a short amount of time, and I know this is only the beginning for you. The lash industry is lucky to have you. 🍯🤎
