🔹 Constant stress – You live on alert, watching for signs, symptoms, or seizures. This drains your mind and body.
🔹 Anticipatory anxiety – The fear of another seizure keeps you tense, even during calm moments.
🔹 Changes in life and priorities – Often, you must give up activities, work opportunities, or personal time because their care becomes the priority.
🔹 Continuous grief – There is a silent grief, because life is no longer what it used to be, and you must constantly adapt.
🔹 Emotional loneliness – Even though he suffers physically, you carry the emotional burden, and it’s a pain you often can’t share or express without feeling guilty.
🔹 Physical and mental exhaustion – The constant worry drains your energy, and when he recovers, you’re left with the exhaustion and a new emotional wound that hasn’t healed.

Multiple sclerosis takes us on an up and down of emotions, practically a roller coaster, but here we go together, expectant and with a good sense of humor, we stop by to greet everyone. Nobody gives up moving forward.
