Do you know the difference between hair texture and hair pattern?

Hair Texture refers to thickness or diameter of the individual hair strands. Texture accounts for 3 categories: Fine, Medium, and Coarse.

Pattern refers to the shape of the hair strands. Common hair patterns include straight, wavy, curly, and extremely curly, and koily.

We often incorrectly use the term “Texture” when we should use the term “Pattern”.
