🚨 BRB Member Safety Alert — Please Stay Indoors

Toledo’s air quality has shattered every previous record, with AQI levels now over 500 in the metro area and Monroe hitting 850. The EPA advises avoiding outdoor activity at AQI 300+,

This Means running outside right now is dangerous for your lungs, heart, and long‑term respiratory health. Heavy smoke is expected to continue through Friday morning.

 REMEMBER — this isn’t just “bad air.”
This can affect you long‑term. Protect yourself. Protect your family. Stay indoors.‼️‼️

Join the BRB Run Club and Restore the Block for a community cleanup! Your help makes a real difference in our neighborhood.

🗓 When: Sunday, July 12th
🕛 Time: 12 PM – 4 PM (Setup at 11 AM)
📍 Meeting Point: Corner of Buffalo & Huron (behind Northgate Apartments)

We’ll have free water for volunteers while supplies last, and food will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the BRB School Drive!

Before we lace up tonight, here’s your reminder: we all want to get faster, but don’t let that make you forget why you started.

Some people run to chase a PR. Some run because it’s the best therapy they’ve ever had. And some are just trying to become a healthier version of themselves.

Don’t ever get discouraged because someone is faster than you. A mile is a mile. Whether it takes you 6 minutes or 16, you still showed up and that’s what matters.

Just keep showing up. The rest will come. 💙
