💕 1. Place Your Order
Once your order comes through, we’ll set up a consultation to go over absolutely everything.

💕 2. Design Consultation
We’ll talk about your must-haves, inspiration photos, colors you love, things you don’t love, your lifestyle, how you plan to wear it, and your overall vision. This is where we really start bringing your dream wig to life!

💕 3. Custom Design
I’ll source and put together your custom design based on everything we discussed. If we need to tweak colors, density, length, or anything else, we’ll do that before I ever begin building it.

💕 4. The Fun Part!
As I work on your wig, I’ll send you progress photos and videos so you can actually watch it come together! If something doesn’t look exactly like you pictured it, we can make little adjustments while it’s being created.

I LOVE doing it this way because sometimes what we picture in our heads doesn’t always translate perfectly in real life. This process makes sure there are no surprises when your wig arrives—you already know exactly what you’re getting because you’ve watched it come to life! 🥹♥️

💕 5. Your Dream Hair Arrives!
Once everything is perfect, I’ll finish it up, style it, give it one final quality check, and send your one-of-a-kind wig on its way!

Boho Barbie Locs will be CLOSED today through July 9th while we give our larger shop space a much-needed makeover! 💕🛠️

As most of you know, we’ve been building out our second install space, and while we’ve been pouring so much love into that room, we realized we don’t want one space to feel brand new while the original shop gets left behind! We want BOTH spaces to have that polished, cozy, salon-quality feel the moment you walk through the door!! 🫶🏻

So we’re painting, reorganizing, adding new displays, freshening everything up, and making the ENTIRE shop feel like the Boho Barbie Locs experience we’ve always envisioned!! ✨

Oh… and we’ve also added EVEN MORE new fibers to our lineup!! 😍🙌🏻 More colors, more textures, more options, and more goodies are making their way into the showroom—including dread charms, beads, wraps, dread-friendly hair ties, and even HATS made specifically to fit over dreads! 🤯🙌🏻 (Yes… actual hats you can comfortably wear with your dreads! 😍)

💻 Our website will remain open 24/7 and we’ll still be working behind the scenes on orders, answering messages as we’re able and getting everything ready for reopening!!

One of the hardest lessons in business is realizing that not everyone who calls themselves your friend actually has your best interests at heart.

I’ve slowly started learning that protecting your peace, your time and your business isn’t being cold—it’s setting healthy boundaries. Real friendships celebrate your success, respect your time, communicate honestly (and also respectfully) and don’t leave you feeling drained, disrespected or taken for granted.

As a small business owner, every hour, every late night and every ounce of energy matters!! I have to be extremely intentional, about where I invest it.

No bitterness. No drama. Just gratitude for the lessons and a renewed appreciation for the people who show up with genuine mutual support, kindness and respect. Some people and their behaviors are just trash and that is NEVER a reflection of YOU - how they treat those and the situations around them, including you, speaks volumes about nothing but THEM; remember that! ♥️

Wellllll… apparently expanding a business takes longer than I thought it would!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

We had originally hoped to reopen this week, buttttttt between construction, organizing, inventory and turning chaos into something pretty…. we’ve realized we need just a littllllleeee more time to get everything finished just the way we want it! 💕

The good news? The new space is coming together SO beyond beautifully and we are more excited than ever to share it with you! 🥹🙌

To make sure everything is stocked, organized and ready for all the exciting things we have planned, our reopening date has been pushed back to either this Saturday 6/20 or next Friday 6/26 — be sure to stay tuned for updates, proper to coming by!
