🍂🍁 Fall hair 🍁🍂 This first time client came in wanting a red that looked natural but was still vibrant. Because of how light her ends were it made it slightly challenging to get an even golden copper tone. I think she looks great with this color!

Short hair don’t care! We had a lot to cut off this time around. I mostly retouched the highlights in the back since most of it would be cut off. Then her regrowth was colored and blended in with the rest to give a soft color melt.

Honey, caramel, sandy blonde, what color would you name this? Tell me in the comments! This looks amazing on her. 💛 Marilu came in asking to go lighter. I’ve been doing her hair for around 13 years. During that time we’ve done many shades of blonde and caramel. This color is inspired by something we did a couple years ago and she got a lot of compliments! It’s just the beginning of how much lighter she’ll go. Grateful to have such a special client for so many years.

Foilayage? Have you heard this term and wondered how it differs from a Balayage technique? This technique is most often used when someone likes the soft blended look of a balayage, but need a little extra help lifting lighter. A technique I use most of the time, especially when the the client has very dark hair to start with.

Foils, foils and more foils, this is what assists the color to lift the hair to the desired level of lightness. Foilayage will still create a natural looking grow out for your color, but will deliver a much more high impact result than traditional balayage. 🚨MAKEOVER ALERT🚨We all love dramatic makeovers! But do you know what it takes to achieve a dramatic makeover?? I want to give a sneak peak into the process. It all starts with a thorough consultation. This 7 hour service actually started a week before her appointment. She prepared me ahead of time that she wanted a change. She sent pictures and we discussed what was achievable for her.

Next I picked up her new extension hair from in Santa Ana (my go to location) I got a mix of 18” and 14” hair. I knew we would be removing her previous hair color so I grabbed my go to color eraser and stocked up on hair color I needed to achieve this look. I love my career! I get to be artistic everyday. But I love my clients more than anything. sat patiently through this process. Even though we originally planned for this to be a 2 day event, we both powered through and got it done in one day. Dramatic changes are amazing and they can be achieved, but always talk to your stylist about what the process will mean for you! ❤️

I’m so excited for the newest addition to this clients family! I’ve known the Hardy/Bodkin women for nearly 10 years and I’m so happy to share in their exciting moments. This mommy-to-be came in for some highlights before this maternity shoot. I gave her some low maintenance highlights (since she’ll be busy with baby for a while) The placement of the highlights were meant to compliment her natural curls. I love how it turned out! Congrats Erin!

Extension day! Want more length but don’t have the patience to let it grow? Then let’s add some tape in extensions. They last 6-8 weeks and the hair can be reused up to 4 times!

Do you want to know the process to get these fun colors? Many times I get clients wanting to try silver, gray, or any pastel colors but get very disappointed when they find out it’s a process. This longtime client of mine always keeps me on my toes and brings in so many things for me to try on her. BUT her hair has been pre-lightened (which was a mission in itself) AND she comes in every 8 weeks to maintain the color, or to try something different. Enjoy the process! Here are the steps for this service:

1️⃣You have to first start with a very ash/gray blonde color. This was done by lightening her regrowth.

2️⃣Then after rinsing out the lightener, her regrowth had to be toned to get all the yellow out.
3️⃣Next, we dried her hair completely so that we would achieve an even saturation with SoColor Cult semi permanent colors
4️⃣Application of the color was the most fun!
5️⃣Style, she could wear this look straight or wavy

I’m obsessed with color eraser! My guest came in after enjoying her pink hair for a while and was ready to go back to her natural. With Matrix color eraser it made that process effortless without using bleach. Check out the process. I was so shocked how easily the color came out!
