My gorgeous niece rocks, and I mean ROCKS, the vibrant color trend, but since she has a busy summer ahead of her she wanted something a little lower-maintenance! Her natural hair color is the most enviable shade of beige blonde and I didn’t want to alter her base, so I just lifted out the last traces of green and toned with a neutral-warm gloss! Once the color was done we finished the new look with layers and curtain fringe to take the bulk out of her hair; now she’s ready for wherever this summer takes her!!

Color prep: Malibu C DDR (Direct Dye Remover) and 20 volume

Color: Shades EQ gloss in 7NW (Milk Tea) and 9NW (Cream Soda) and Processing Liquid

Cut: Round layers, face framing, and curtain fringe

Maria came to me wanting a new look that would be low-maintenance and allow her to keep her styling options. She had more gorgeous dark hair than she knew what to do with, so layers, auburn highlights, and a Brazilian Blowout gave her the updated look and manageability that she wanted.
