Bruising after injections can happen because tiny blood vessels under the skin may get nicked during treatment, especially in delicate areas like the lips, under-eyes, or cheeks. While it can look dramatic, it’s usually a completely normal part of the healing process and often fades within a few days to two weeks depending on the person. Staying hydrated, avoiding alcohol/blood thinners beforehand (when medically appropriate) and following aftercare instructions can help minimize it!!🫶🏼
