Good evening everyone I had a couple cancellations this Saturday and also next Saturday if anyone is interested.

Good evening everyone I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. With the holidays I know everyone was with family and you should have been family is all we have. But with that being said please even if you have the sniffles or think you have a sinus infection please stay home. I know people who thought it was a sinus infection and it was covid. When I have to quarantine for two weeks that means I go without pay for those two weeks. My family needs that pay, I work for myself so I don’t get sick pay or vacation. I ask that you think of my family the next time you leave your house with a sore throat or a sniffle in this time of covid. I’m not afraid of getting sick I’m afraid of losing my house because I wasn’t able to work. I hope this new year is better for us all.

I have a couple openings on Saturday if anyone wants to get in.

Good evening everyone I am working on my list. I’m definitely not going to get to everyone tonight but I will get to you I promise. We are all excited to get back to some kind of normalcy.

Good morning.
I know everyone is wanting that phone call from me. We are all eager to see one another but we do not know for sure we will be opening on Wednesday. I also know the Rensselaer county executive said open but I am licensed by the state and could be fined or have my license taken away, so please be patient with me. As soon as we get the green light I will call everyone.
Please remember, I have been out of work for 3 months. It is going to take a while to get everyone in. You will be called in the order I cancelled you or when you asked to be put on the list. The state has given us our guidelines and they are lengthy so that being said things will be different.
I also want you to know I’m doing my best to sanitize, but that being said you enter the salon and sit in my chair at your own risk. We cannot social distance, it is not possible. If you are sick, please cancel your appointment. We have all worked too long to stay healthy. We will be taking temperatures as you enter and you will need to wear a mask at all times. If you are getting color I suggest wearing a disposable mask not the cloth ones because color will get on the elastic around the ears.

Good morning, as we approach the second week in phase 1 we get closer to opening the salon. Things will be different as we open. Some services will not be offered for safety reasons. I will only be doing one client at a time so please be patient with me while I get everyone in. It will take a few weeks to get caught up. I have a list going in order of your cancelled appointment. If you did not have an appointment make sure you send me a message to get on the list because walk-ins will not be allowed.

We do not know exactly what our safety precautions will be but we do know you will not be allowed in the salon till I come get you. You will text me to let me know you are there and I will come out when I’m ready for you. I know some of you come with the whole family but unfortunately this will not be allowed anymore their will be no waiting area so they will need to stay in the car. Unless your child has an appointment they will not be allowed in the salon. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Also masks will be required. When I know more I will let you know.

My schedule will be different to accommodate the other stylists in the salon. Right now I’m looking at Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Saturday’s. Again please be patient I will work as much as I can. Also your first appointment back prices will stay the same but prices will be going up when you come for your second appointment back. Please remember I have not raised my prices in 15 years so it is much needed especially now that all my prices have increased drastically. I appreciate all of your understanding.

I hope everyone is healthy and excited to get back to some what normal life. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

Barber shops, hair and nail salons ordered to close by governor New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is ordering the closing of licensed cosmetology shops effective Saturday, March 21 at 8 p.m. The move is part of the governor’s Executive Order in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Good morning everyone. In the wake of all the news about the virus. I ask that you stay home if you are feeling slightly ill or your kids are ill also if you have a temperature. I promise I will get you in as soon as you are better. I have a little girl at home that I do not want to give this to. I appreciate all of you understanding.
Edit: The salon will be putting a sign up on the door if you are ill or your immediate family is ill please do not enter. The ladies at the salon have many elderly customers and some are battling cancer right now. We ask you to call and reschedule. Thank you for understanding.
