There was a season when I looked unrecognizable to the people who were used to the old version of me.

& honestly, I couldn’t fully explain it at the time. I just knew I was being called to let go.

What I’ve learned is that growth rarely looks impressive while it’s happening, & not every season is meant for producing.

A few things I learned to help your becoming:
✨ You don’t have to understand every instruction before taking the next step.
✨ Being unavailable for your old life is necessary to create your new one.
✨ Not everyone is qualified to judge a season they’re not assigned to.
✨ Your value doesn’t decrease when you’re no longer performing for others.
✨ What feels like an ending may simply be a redirection.
✨ Faith is trusting that the seeds are growing, even when the ground looks empty.

Not every last-minute request deserves your immediate access. Especially when the change compromises the quality people hired you for in the first place. 🤨

A few ways to place boundaries professionally without guilt:
1️⃣Pause before responding. Urgency from others does not automatically become urgency for you.
2️⃣Speak to capacity, not emotion. (“I’m unable to execute that at my standard within this timeframe.”)
3️⃣Offer structure, not self-sacrifice. (“We can revisit this during business hours” or “This would require an additional timeline/budget.”)
