I've been quiet here lately, but I've been busy with my practice, helping folx out. I can usually find room in my schedule for new people, so let me know if you need help! (Pic from a table-Thai session for interest.)

Big news! I'm expanding my schedule in November. I'm adding Sundays (10-5) and Fridays (11-7), so it should get easier to get on my schedule now. I'll still be working Mondays (9:30-5:30) and Thursdays (11-7) as usual. Come see me!

I thought I'd share some recent successes:

🚦 Calmed the intense muscle spasms a friend with MS was having, improving their mobility enough to allow them to travel;

🆘 Relieved tingling/numbness in someone's hand who had "overdone it" moving heavy furniture, allowing them to sleep better;

🦾 Ditto, for a fellow LMT complaining of carpal tunnel symptoms from doing bodywork.

👉 This is why I do this work, folx. I love helping people out and easing their pain so they can live their lives better!

I'm cooking up a Thai-massage-based "partner care" lesson so my clients can take better care of each other. (Also great at parties!) 😆 Stand by for news; this should be available soon in an affordable, bite-sized format (comparable to a bodywork session). Bring your partner, family member, or friend!

I'm bringing Thai massage work back into my practice generally speaking as well. It was my first love - I have 122 CE hours in Thai bodywork therapies. Once I get the rest of my chops back, I'll also be offering full table-Thai sessions!

I've added cupping to my work. It feels great to be using a completely new technique in my treatments - yay for "beginner's mind." These are silicone cups that are easy on & off with just a bit of coconut oil for lubricant. "Massage cupping" like this (as opposed to cupping from an acupuncturist) is simply a way of decompressing tissue as a great alternative to the usual compression of manual therapy. It's particularly promising as an adjunct therapy for scar tissue treatment!
