Finding inspiration is easy when you are open to new ideas, trends and taking risks. Thank you to all my past, present and future guests for doing that for me!

I became a hairstylist because it's an amazing creative outlet for me, I am capable of creating something beautiful with my hands and help people feel good about themselves! You've got to have passion for what you choose to do in life because you will likely be doing it often or for a substantial amount of your time so it should be something you enjoy. I have met some of the most interesting peopl

Sharing some recent work and reflecting on what a great year it’s been professionally and also personally. As I sit enjoying this sunny fall day with my three boys, I can’t help but be thankful for the opportunities to be a part of so many people’s lives in getting to do their hair. I’ve heard it all (and if it happens at the chair, it stays at the chair!😉) and am honored to be the keeper of so many stories! That’s what becomes the hardest part of walking away 😭 But in trying to juggle life with a new baby, family time & work schedules, it’s become clear that it’s time to disconnect to reconnect. I get the opportunity to return home full time, take time for myself and focus on my babies as my husband begins a new professional journey! We have always supported each other in everything and this is just part of our story💗 Thank you to all who have supported my passion in hair and allowed me into your lives 🙏🏼 I will always be a hairstylist but for now, taking some time to breathe ❤️ ...I will be out of the salon beginning in November 🌻 Thank you to Beauty Is, my second home this last year and a half for the great opportunities, education and encouragement!

Shadow root, highlights and cut✨ Sometimes it takes a couple visits to really nail down a good formula & technique. When someone has really thick hair, balayage isn’t always the best way to go, get those foils and stretch the root! Paul Mitchell CH+ series for a neutral gray coverage base and all the foils for that sunny blonde!! ✨✨

Color class from this week, by Mary Cromeans, Paul Mitchell international educator!

The day we did a color class in the salon, I was able to put some new techniques to use on this rich brunette color! Paul Mitchell chocolate series with some block color using red violets! It gave us the perfect dimension to go darker but also use those lighter tones for a pop of subtle caramels & cherry reds! 🍒🍫

First session of highlights and lowlights to balance our grown out copper and black roots 😳 We used all Paul Mitchell XG with ash and green to neutralize the orange & red. Neutral shadow root and PMShines to tone the highlights. 👌🏼😻

Confidence creates consistency

Very few things in life can bring as much joy as making others happy. I believe in collaboration between the client and stylist to acheive more than an end goal; it should be a continuous communication of ideas, what we are inspired by the most, what we are drawn to and using them to bring ideas to life. In my career I have met people of all walks of life and have learned compassion through hairstyling and how to understand people’s needs. My goal is to give confidence to each person I meet through my craft.
