What an insane disappointment it is that Castiel Gabriel Jaxx and I hit the ground running with our small business venture only to have it overshadowed by the blatant, immoral disregard of a multi-billion dollar corporation. The written statement from Mister Car Wash contained within this article is such a wild attempt at trivializing the hell that we have been through for the past year and contradicts the wonderful investigative reporting that was aired on the news last night. This response was tone-deaf and invalidating, as if we haven’t been begging for meetings for months. Pleas for help from all avenues including code enforcement have fallen on deaf ears for the better part of a year at this point. We have been unable to flourish, brand, expand, advertise, function at normal capacity or even have a proper grand opening. It just goes to show that money truly does rule the world and there is zero recourse for the unethical behaviors of those who have plenty. What I wouldn’t give to have the Tucson we grew up in back. At least then would our business failing to thrive be in our own hands. What a shame.
