This time last year, I was fighting for my life —
physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

Everything felt like it was in disarray.
My health. My heart. My finances. My relationships.
I wasn’t okay… and I knew something had to change.

So this past year became about saving myself.

I moved. I slowed down. I self-soothed.
I journaled. I fasted. I prayed — a lot.
I chose healing over hustling, patience over punishment,
and learning over rushing.

What you’re watching here — these 18-inch locs, grown over 7 years —
they’re more than hair.
They’re evidence of discipline, consistency, survival, and growth.
Just like me.

This journey hasn’t been easy.
Being in the valley. Being away from my kids.
Rebuilding energy when some days I only had 60% to give.
But slowly… 60 turned into 70.
70 into 80.
And some days — even 90.

I’m deeply thankful for the few who stayed supportive and loving through this season.
It showed me what’s real — and I don’t take that lightly.

If you’re in a health crisis, a rebuilding season, or a quiet fight no one sees:
be patient with yourself.
Give your body, mind, heart, and spirit what they need.
Be kind to yourself.
Stay prayed up.
The highs and the lows don’t last forever.

I’m excited — not because everything is perfect,
but because I chose an entirely different life… on purpose.
